Webin this chapter, we investigate the role of cumulative adverse life experiences—traumatic and stressful life experiences and diversity and difference as mechanisms of oppression. Webaccording to a new investigative report, published in atlanta magazine and titled “the real behind the wall: A look inside the infamous, deadly fulton county jail,”. Webin 2016, the fulton county superior court formed a task force to address ways to keep people with mental health problems from cycling in and out of the jail.
